Grab your pooch and swing on by Pine Mountain RV Resort, located in Pine Mountain, Georgia. This outdoor recreation area is stocked with amenities and luxuries to enhance your camping experience, as it’s an RVC Outdoor Destination spot.Â
Unlike most campgrounds, at Pine Mountain, you have access to premium beer, wine, and coffee, giving you the option of packing a lighter cooler. On top of that, you also have access to a large, in-ground swimming pool, a playground, and golfing only two miles away. Other amenities include a campground store, where you can purchase any last-minute or forgotten necessities, a large pavilion for activities, and community fire pits for gatherings and marshmallow roasting.
Dogs are welcome to accompany their owners at Pine Mountain. You’re asked to keep your pup on a leash that does not exceed 6 feet and to tidy up any mess they make in a timely manner. Please use the garbage cans to dispose of your waste. Dogs are not permitted to enter the pool area, buildings, or playground, but there are designated bark parks where they can roam off-leash while socializing with other guests! If your pup demonstrates aggressive behavior, it can result in them being asked to leave the park without a refund.
Pine Mountains off-furs guests a variety of accommodation types, making it easy to meet the needs of all campers. Rates start at $58 per night for 2 adults, with a $3 fee for additional guests over the age of 12. A variety of cabin rentals are available and vary in their amenities and costs. These include yurt rentals, small cabins, large cabins, resort cabins, and RV sites. Un-fur-tunately, there is no tent camping at this resort, unless you have an RV and would like to add a tent to your site for an additional $10 per night.
The yurts available are similar to tents, but rather than roughing it, you’ll be “glamping” in style! With all the benefits of tent camping minus the rain, bugs, and dirt, yurt camping is perfect for those looking to upgrade their experience. If you’re bringing Fido, keep in mind there's a $50 cleaning fee with a limitation of two dogs per rental unit. The cleaning fee is $25 if you’re traveling without your pup.Â
The same fees apply when staying in the large cabin; however, the small cabin and resort cabins are not pet-friendly. The cabins range in their amenities. The large cabins are fully equipped with kitchens and private bathrooms, ideal for those who aren’t interested in “ruffing it.”
Georgia's Pine Mountain RV Resort is a fully loaded campground that offers guests a variety of accommodations as well as a wide selection of amenities and activities to choose from!
