Pioneer RV Resort is located in Phoenix Arizona. It includes 583 spaces, but it has age restrictions and is a 55+ resort. Your pooch is welcome at this site, however, there are rules in order for Fido to stay with you.
This resort is situated in the Arizona desert. So if you like desert scenery, you’re in luck - this might be the resort for you! When you’re not enjoying the desert scenery around the resort, there are restrooms and showers available as well as laundry facilities, a self-service RV wash, and RV Storage. If you enjoy a sense of community and activities, the resort also has everything from worship services to a pool. You can also play pickleball, play in the rec room, work out in the exercise room, or enjoy the planned activities the resort has to offer. If you prefer activities off-site, there are a variety of things to do around the area that include golfing, gambling, visiting museums, hiking, and even checking out Spring Training. The fun doesn’t stop there, though, as there are many great activities to check out while you’re at Pioneer RV Resort.
As mentioned, your pooch is welcome. However, it does appear that there are rules about the breed of dog. The resort website states that “aggressive pets of any breed are not allowed…” There is a two pet limit per RV. Management also wants to make sure your dog is never unattended, even if they are tied up. For everyone’s safety, every pet must also have all shots required by Arizona law. If your pooch is “well behaved,” they still need to be in an enclosed area or on a leash at all times. It’s also important to know that your pooch isn’t allowed in public areas of the resort. Lastly, the resort wants you to clean up after your dog. So, be sure to bring poop bags and keep the resort free of your pooch’s poop for everyone's peace of mind and a more pleasant experience.
