Description

Quietwoods South Campground is a parkland oasis with inescapable beauty guaranteed to tempt the city dweller who enjoys vacation time in Wisconsin.

RVs are always welcome and can expect full hook-ups to electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer as well as pristine restrooms, showers, and a laundry room. Roll onto a roomy, gravel pad where established trees provide shade. There are 160 sites on fifty-one acres of prime country land and areas where you can pitch a tent under the stars.

If you prefer a home away from home, the camp features an array of rental cottages that sleep four people with a kitchen and bathroom. Spend the night in a log cabin that's reminiscent of pioneer living back in the day.

The start of the summer season is always a grand affair, with bands hired to get folks full of vacation cheer and the kids all pumped up for a great holiday. Weekend activities throughout the season are great fun, including pool parties, circus, and Halloween happenings -- and that’s only part of the amusements, as Quietwoods Campground has an aquatic center with a swimming pool, water slides, and a splash pad for kids to stay cool all summer! Grown-ups get to hang out at the camp bar where a mouthwatering menu of pizza, nachos, and tacos are super popular after a day fishing in the pond or playing horseshoes, volleyball, and mini-golf. The camp store is brimming with all kinds of supplies, snacks, and souvenirs to surprise family and friends.

No need to stash furry-pals in the back of the RV as the welcome mat is always out for your four-legged friend and invites your pet pals to join in the fun. Dogs need to be kept on-leash during their stay and are allowed in certain cabin rentals for a nominal fee. Pet parents are expected to pick up their pooches waste and supervise them at all times.

Camping out at Quietwoods South Campground opens the door to a multitude of state parks, each a natural wonder all of its own. From breathtaking bluff views to sandy beaches and hidden caves, the surrounding area is an adventurer’s playground with alluring hiking trails and scenery to inspire an adventure.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
