Rainbow Bay

Rainbow Bay is located in scenic Klamath Oregon. This particular place is a day-use only site. However, there is lodging nearby and there are fun activities to do year round. There isn’t much listed about bringing your pooch. So, it’s always a good idea to bring a leash for your dog in case it’s needed.

This beautiful site is surrounded by trees and butts up against a lake. It’s also very close to several wilderness areas for hiking, canoeing, fishing, picnicking and more. It’s also very close to the famous Crater Lake, which is the deepest lake in the United States. So, there’s plenty to see and explore! This site offers an RV parking area, toilets that flush, a boat ramp, campfire rings, and much more. In the summer there are a variety of things you can do in the water, and in the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, and even snowshoeing! So there’s something for everyone, year-round.

It’s unknown what the leash rules are on this site or if poop bags are available. However, it is good to just be courteous to those around you. Keep your dog leashed until you’re sure it’s alright for them to be off leash, always clean up after your pooch, and make sure they don’t disturb the wildlife or the natural landmarks.
