If you're 55 or older and looking for a new camping destination, head on over to Rainbow Village of Zephyrhills. Not only will you find luxuries for yourself at Rainbow Village, but there's also plenty for your pooch to look forward to!

For starters, dogs have an opportunity to roam both on- and off-leash within this campground community while in the designated dog walk area. Outside of the dog walk, your pooch is to remain on a leash at all times. In addition to the dog walk, there are also opportunities for your pup to freshen up at the dog bath. Be mindful of other guests and tidy up after your pooch immediately during your stay. Also note that dogs who act aggressively towards guests will be asked to leave, as Rainbow Village wants all visitors to have a "pawsitive" experience during their stay.

When it comes to accommodations at Rainbow Village, you have 380 grassy RV campsites to choose from, all of which come with a picnic table and a patio. No campsites have fire rings -- however, there's a group fire pit located within the facility grounds that's used by guests and for organized evening fires. All campsites come complete with water, electric, and sewage hookups, offering you everything you need during your stay. RV sites are only $34 per night. If you don't have an RV, there are options to stay in the park models. Monthly and yearly rates are offered at this campground.

All campers have access to the plethora of amenities found at Rainbow Village. Showers and clean restroom facilities are easily accessible. There’s also a dump station and recycling area, making it convenient to tidy up when you’re on your way out! Laundry is also available for a small cost, but both the wireless internet and cable are no extra charge.

Planned activities are offered year-round, such as bingo and social events. Some sports activities include bocce ball, basketball, horseshoes, and shuffleboard. Other options for entertainment include visiting the covered pool, swinging by the recreation hall, popping into the game area, or heading to the fitness center for a workout.
