Set in the heart of Sierra National Forest, Recreation Point Campground is a wonderful location for your next group camping adventure. This eastern California campground attracts numerous visitors every year because of its great features. The campground’s scenic setting provides a magical backdrop for your camping experience. Conveniently located near great outdoor recreation sites, the campground offers lots of fun ways to explore the area. And best of all, Recreation Point campground is dog-friendly, so you can enjoy the company of your dog while you camp out!

Recreation Point is a group campground made up of four sites on a single loop. The nightly fees for the sites range from $107 to $263.97, and each campsite can accommodate between 30 and 50 campers, depending on its size. The group picnic sites at the campground can accommodate between 50 and 100 campers as well. There are plenty of useful amenities at the campground that will make your experience more pleasant. You can find picnic tables, large pedestal grills, water faucets, and flush toilets on the premises.

There are lots of outdoor recreation sites in the area, and you’ll definitely want to check them out if you’re looking for fun ways to spend your time. Nearby Bass Lake has a beach and boat ramp, and it is a great spot for swimming, boating, paddling, and fishing. Recreation Point also offers a designated swimming area. If hiking is your thing, you can find lots of trails in the vicinity. Willow Creek, Goat Mountain, and Spring Cove are a few of the more popular trails close by.

When you’re planning your trip to Recreation Point Campground, remember that there is a two-pet limit at each campsite, and dogs must remain leashed at all times. Also, please note that this is a tent-only campground; RVs are not permitted to park on the premises.
