Description

The Rio Chama RV Park in Chama, New Mexico sits beside a historic railroad, and the park's railroad theme helps immerse you in the whole New Mexico experience! Each day around 10 AM and 4 PM, the train passes by the park, and you'll also have stunning mountain views during your stay! Guests love that they can choose from shaded or sunny sites, as well as sites along the river or a spot among the trees whether they're staying in a tent or an RV.

To help make your stay even more enjoyable, Rio Chama welcomes your four-legged family members, and they even have a designated dog walking area in the park! Make sure Rex is on a leash at all times and that any messes they make are promptly cleaned up.

Your RV site comes complete with a picnic table and a campfire ring, and guests can also choose from pull-through or back-in sites with 30 and 50-amp electric. Some sites can accommodate big rigs, and there are simple sites with just electric and water hookups for quick stays. The park is pleased to offer complimentary WiFi access on the grounds, and they also have restroom and shower facilities. Rio Chama doesn't have its own laundry room, but laundry services are available minutes away, as are pet kennels and veterinary offices!

You'll have lots to do during your stay at Rio Chama, including playing a game of horseshoes at one of the park's pits. They also have pavilions and a rec room for group gatherings, and they're known to host fun activities like potlucks and bingo. If you have two-legged children too, you'll love that there's a separate area just for families within the park!

Prices range from about $30 to $50 per night depending on the amenities you choose and whether you're camping in a tent or RV, so the park recommends calling ahead to inquire about the rates when you play to stay at this pawtastic vacation destination!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
