River Vista RV Village

Previously known as the Hide-a-Way Resort, the River Vista RV Village is an ideal, enchanting getaway spot for folks over 55 looking for great amenities, a doggo-friendly spot, and of course, a waterfront view! Located in Ruskin, Florida, right on the Little Manatee River, this furrific resort offers about 350 RV sites (many of which are right on the Little Manatee River) with full hook-ups to 30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Smack dab between Sarasota and Tampa, you're just a few miles away (in each direction) from all kinds of Florida fun! 

The RV sites can accommodate big rigs and pop-ups and are shaded or sunny (by request). You'll have access to a fire pit, LP gas, a boat ramp, plenty of docks for river access, a fishing pier (for those who can't help but cast a line), and an air-conditioned rec hall!  There's even a heated swimming pool and a spa you can use year-round, as well as shuffleboard and horseshoes. When all else fails, remember, you're right on the river, so dive in, take a swim, go kayaking or canoeing, or fish up a storm!

This fun village is more than just a campground -- it's a little community. In fact, during the winter, River Vista RV Village hosts regularly planned group activities to get everyone together and bonding! Whether you're in Florida to enjoy some rest and relaxation on the water (you're about 40 miles away from Tampa Bay's famous beaches) or simply want to immerse yourself in the full Florida experience (we're talking theme parks, tourist traps, and more!), you've picked a great, centrally located spot to accomplish both! 

Up to two pups are welcome to join you here, but please note that River Vista RV Village only allows small dogs (less than 18 inches and less than 25 pounds). You're also required to keep your doggo on their leash at all times.
