Rivernook Campground

Rivernook Campground is located in Kernville, California. It is a large campground that is perfect for families and individuals who are both new to camping or experienced campers. Situated in the Kern River Valley, this campground sits near the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Nearby, you will also find the Mojave Desert and the beautiful Redwood Forest.

You are surrounded by lush trees and flora and fauna that are unique to the area and will make any nature lover swoon. You even have access to the Canal Trail right within walking distance of the campground. The site also has a waterfront perfect for swimming and fishing. You are also close to shops and local restaurants with tasty food just in case you want something a bit different to eat than normal camping food. 

In the campground, some amenities you will enjoy are both tent and RV camping, full hookups, electric, sewer, water access for drinking, restrooms, showers, cable TV hookup, and flushing toilets. The park itself is large with tons of trees that provide shade for your campsite or outdoor picnics. 

You also have room to run around in grassy areas - your dog is sure to love these spots! Dogs are allowed to come with you, but you should keep them on a leash while in the campground. Also, bring your own poop bags and clean up after your dog when they are done going to the bathroom. 

Your dog should never show aggression to another dog or humans and they should respond to your voice commands promptly. 

Rivernook Campground is secluded and quiet so you can enjoy the sounds of nature in peace. With its natural wonder and beautiful surroundings, any nature lover and hiker will find plenty to do in this gorgeous area!
