River's End Campground

On the scenic Tybee Island off the coast of Georgia lies River's End Campground -- a central facility for any looking to explore what this island has to offer. Some call this area Savannah's Beach, as it is not far from the town of Savannah, but whatever you call it, the beautiful shoreline makes for an excellent destination for any camper.

This privately owned campground is proud to offer more than 100 sites for both tents and RVs along with cabins as well. One of the cabins is even pup-friendly, though you will have to cough up an extra $40 for your stay to have your furry buddy with you. The tent sites do not allow canines, but the RV lots welcome doggos at no extra charge. Keep in mind that only campsites with fire rings may enjoy campfires. Nightly rates start at $29 during the off-season and jump all the way up to $99 for a full hookup site from the month of April until September, and cabin rates vary from $75 to $175. 

On-site, you'll have access to all kinds of amenities, including a TV lounge room, a community pavilion, a fitness center, a vending room, and a gift shop. The wifi is complimentary, so feel free to check your phone -- though you may be too busy having fun to stare at a screen. The biggest pool on the whole island can be found here as well, meaning you don't even have to leave the property to go for a dip in the summer months. Only half a mile away is the main beach of Tybee Island, where you can dive into some real waves or just relax on the pristine beaches instead.

Your doggo will feel quite at home in this campground, as they even offer a dog park where your pupper can stretch their legs. As always, be sure to clean up after your woofer during your stay and do not allow them to disturb the other campers.
