Salem Farms Campground

Salem Farms Campground is located in Salem, Connecticut. The campground sits on 157 acres and has been family-owned and operated since 1980. This family-oriented campsite is also pet-friendly and has lots of amenities that are perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The campground gets very popular in the summertime, so you can expect the most crowds during this time of the year. 

In the immediate area of the campground, there are also many attractions you can enjoy. A museum, ferry, casino, go-kart racing, a drive-in movie theater, beaches, and golf courses are all right here. The beaches are the perfect place to go when you want to walk your dog and get out and enjoy the beautiful area with them. 

At the actual campground, you will have access to an abundance of amenities. You will have electrical hookups, water hookups, a sink, shower, picnic table, fire ring, and free Wi-Fi and cable are located at each campsite. Some of the campsites are shaded, while other sites are in the sun in open and grassy areas. There is also a snack bar and ice cream stand right on the campground as well, which is perfect if you bring your kids along with you or if you just need a treat yourself. A pool, basketball court, volleyball, horseshoe, and shuffleboard are available at your disposal here. 

Dogs are more than welcome to come, but they are not allowed in any of the public areas of the campground and should wear their leash at all times. They must also be up-to-date with their rabies vaccine. Poop bags may or may not be provided, so make sure to bring them just in case there are none. Cleaning up after your dog is essential. 

Overall, Salem Farms Campground is in a great location near the beach and is a wonderful family and pet-friendly option for some summertime fun.
