Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground

The Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground is a highly rated campground and RV park located in Milledgeville, Georgia. It is conveniently located, easily accessible, accommodates cabin and RV camping, and features everything you would want in a campground and so much more. 

The 112-acre campground offers 60 RV camping sites, all of which are gravel and have full hookups available. The roads that lead to the sites are paved and wide, allowing big rigs to move around and park comfortably. Several sites are pull-through. Every single campsite comes with its own picnic table and a fire ring. Since the sites are well-spaced-out, there is enough space to enjoy a bit of privacy and peace from other visitors. 

The campground features a well-maintained bathhouse with clean, flushing toilets and warm running water. There is a coin-operated laundry facility and a swimming pool for the patrons to cool off in. Plus, three pavilions and a clubhouse all make great gathering points for campers to get to know their neighbors and enjoy potlucks together. 

The highlight of the campground, at least for the dog owners, is the fenced dog park. It is spacious and provides a secure environment for dogs to run, play and get their daily dose of exercise -- which is greatly appreciated since dogs must remain leashed in other areas of the campground. On top of that, there is a dog washing station by the bathhouse, so make sure to pack a doggie towel and let your canine companions get their paws dirty with their furry friends. 

There are also several hiking trails that dogs are welcome on, perfect for those who love to sniff and explore in the wilderness. Please make sure to clean up after your canine buddy, whether you are at the dog run or out on the trails. Lastly, six well-stocked fishing ponds allow campers to get the full camping experience. 

Cabin rates start at $95 per night, while RV sites are $39 for back-ins and $44 for pull-throughs.
