Seminole Campground is a public, family-operated campground and RV park located in North Fort Myers, Florida. This beautiful, nature-based campground offers 129 sites both on and off the creek, several of which are pull-through, in a country-like setting.
The campground is situated in a serene and quiet location, surrounded by fragrant oak, cypress and pine trees. There is a creek that crosses through the campground that adds charm to the cozy camping sites. One of the biggest perks of the Seminole Campground is its central location that provides the camp’s patrons with easy access to the nearby Caloosahatchee River, as well as local beaches, nature walks, and hiking trails. It is a perfect place for a weekend away with the family, including the four-legged members that are welcome at the campground -- as long as they remain leashed and supervised at all times.
The campground is very well-maintained, clean, and features everything you would want in a campground and so much more, which is why it is a very popular location all year round. There are lots of RV sites, most of which offer full hookups. There is a heated swimming pool, a large game room, a fitness center, a bathhouse that features private restrooms and hot showers, laundry facilities, a general store, storage, and even an on-site post office.Â
If that isn’t enough, there is free wifi available throughout the campground, as well as a pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, and horseshoes. Needless to say, this is a fantastic spot for a family getaway as there are countless activities both in and around the campground that everyone can participate in throughout the day. To top it off, there is a dog park that canines can run around in without a leash. For four-legged friends that prefer to roam and explore the wilderness, there are several nature trails nearby that leashed dogs are allowed on.
Daily rates start from $55 per site, but check the campground's website for seasonal, group, weekly and monthly rates and discounts.Â
