Description

Sleeping Wolf Campground and RV Park is a small yet spacious camping destination in Browning, Montana nestled alongside Willow Creek. This pooch-friendly campground "off-furs" both you and your pup access to amenities and activities in Montana's scenic outdoors. Sleeping Wolf is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who wish to explore the Montana mountains and surrounding landscape with their pup.

If you decide to bring Fido along for this outdoor adventure, remember their leash as you're asked to keep them on it at all times! Maintaining control of your pup is also required, as aggressive behavior and excessive barking is not permitted. Tidying up after your pooch is mandatory to keep the park clean for all visitors. Un-fur-tunately, dogs aren't allowed in the tenting area.

When it comes to accommodations, there are 27 spacious sites available for RV and tent campers. Other camping vehicles such as fifth wheels and pop-up trailers are also welcome. 10 of the 27 sites are for primitive tent camping, and they're distanced from the RV sites. All tent sites are right along the creek and come with a fire pit. If you plan to pitch a tent, rates are $10 per person.

For RV campers, of the 17 RV sites, 10 have water and electricity connections available -- the other 7 are primitive. A dump station, laundry room, and store with firewood and ice add a modern touch of convenience to your stay. All campers have access to showers and flush toilets. Keep in mind there's a daily fee of $5 to use the showers.

Sleeping Wolf is renowned for the spectacular views of Chief Mountain and 52 other accompanying mountain peaks. Marvel in the beauty of the mountains from your own campsite, with unobstructed views. Enjoy walks through the campground and surrounding nature trails with your pooch while catching glimpses of the faraway peaks. For entertainment, visit the dance floor or play horseshoes and volleyball. There's also a picnic area where you can relax with your pup while socializing with other guests. The creek is an angler's delight if you're interested in a calming afternoon by the water.

Characterized by scenic mountain views and a refreshing creek, Sleeping Wolf Campground and RV Park is no ordinary destination, so grab your pooch and swing by the next time you're visiting Montana to camp!
