Description

Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch is a camping getaway for those looking for a plethora of activities and amenities in Montana's great outdoors. Admire sights of the Crazy Mountains or Boulder River while you camp at Spring Creek, only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park.

This dog-friendly campground welcomes all pups with open paws. Dogs are, however, not permitted in the tent or cabin area -- they're only allowed to camp in your RV. Pups are required to stay on a leash at all times and never to be left unattended. Tying your dog down on your site is only permitted when you're present! Remember to also tidy up after your pooch to keep the grounds clean for all guests to enjoy.

Two-person camping begins at only $20 per night, and four-person camping is $30. Tent camping is primitive, but drinking water is provided on the grounds. RV sites are perfect for all camping vehicles such as trailers and fifth wheels. Multiple types of RV sites are offered, including full hookups, only water and electric, or primitive vehicle camping with no hookups. Campfires are permitted on individual sites, but only in campfire rings.

At Spring Creek Campground, you'll find activities for campers of all ages, and, of course, your pooch. The outdoor playground, ATV trails, and sports fields are great for the kids. You can enjoy outdoor games like horseshoes and volleyball, and for the adults, the Overlands Golf Course is only 5 miles away. Anglers will be pleased to learn there are two trout fishing ponds right within the campground, ideal for a day of relaxing by the water with your pup. You get to keep what you catch from the ponds, for a cost of 60 cents per inch.

Hiking is plentiful, with trails zigzagging all around the campground. The trails vary in difficulty and length, ranging from easy to more challenging for novice hikers and their pups. Roast some marshmallows over the communal fire pit at the campground's large pavilion. Laundry, wireless internet, and the general store are other modern perks to satisfy your needs.

Come and stay at Montana's Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, where you and your pooch can marvel at more natural sights than you can shake Fido's stick at.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
