Description

Stone Mountain Park Campground is the heart of Stone Mountain Park in Georgia, and it gives visitors an opportunity to continually explore all the attractions the park has to offer.

This generously sized campground comes with a variety of sites to choose from that will accommodate the needs of any camper. There are over 250 RV and motorhome sites that come equipped with full or partial service hookups. Both pull-thru and back-in sites are available, making it easy to fit any vehicle. Cable and wireless internet are available on select sites.

There are also 125 sites for tents and pop-ups that come with water and electricity. You have the choice of either a lakefront site on Stone Mountain Lake or a wooded site. Primitive sites are offered as well, for those looking to rough-it. All sites come with grills, picnic tables, and fire pits. If you're wanting a more luxurious experience, check out one of the three rental options offered. These include safari tents, RV rentals or beautiful yurts right on the water. Dogs are welcome at Stone Mountain Campground, but be sure to clean up after them and keep them on a leash at all times!

Stone Mountain Campground has an abundance of amenities and activities to offer, on top of what you can find in Stone Mountain Park. There are restrooms with showers and flush toilets, as well as laundry facilities. The store on site has bait for fishing, groceries, RV supplies, firewood, and much more, making it easy for you to pack light.

A seasonal pool, sand volleyball court, children's playground, and horseshoe court are other fun ways to pass time during your stay. Not to mention, there is a lake where you can enjoy fishing and boating, but unfortunately, no swimming. You can also take a walk through Stone Mountain Park and gather the courage to try the Summit Skyride or the Skyhike Adventure Ropes Course. Wildlife viewing and hiking is another option in the park.

Stone Mountain Park is said to be the most popular of Georgia's attractions, making this campsite a prime location you won't want to miss out on!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
