You'll find Strawberry Bay Campground perched alongside Strawberry Reservoir, Utah's most popular fishing spot and one of the country's most beautiful bodies of water. The rolling hills that surround this captivating campsite are covered in sagebrush, and it doesn't matter where you set up camp, because these expansive views will take your breath away with every turn, from any angle! (The vistas alone are well worth the $20 per night camping fee!)
Each spacious sites offers plenty of privacy, and most have sheltered picnic tables, grills, and rings for your crackling campfire. You can get a full hookup site for your ravishing RV, and Strawberry Bay welcomes groups (and their furry friends!) too. You'll see pretty pine trees scattered throughout these gorgeous grounds, but they don't provide much shade, so make sure you're keeping yourself and your canine cool and hydrated as you explore this exquisite area!
If you're fond of fishing, you'll find it hard to pull yourself away from this reservoir. You can stock up on supplies at the nearby Strawberry Marina, rent a pontoon boat, fill up with fuel, or make use of the boat ramp. You do need a permit to fish in the reservoir though, so make sure you have one before setting off. If tracking some rainbow trout doesn't tickle your fancy, the marina is a stunning spot for a stroll, and you can always use the renowned reservoir for family canoe trips and showing off your water-skiing skills!Â
Looking for land-based loops? The Strawberry OHV Trail system is beloved by bikers, and the surrounding Wasatch Mountains make for some spectacular scenery. This awesome area is a haven for hike-loving hounds, and we're sure you know why! Leashed roams around the reservoir are a "mutts", and you and your preppy puppy will be happy to hear that there are many magnificent miles to enjoy! You'd have to be barking mad to get bored staying here -- there's so much to do and see!
