Cleaning up after your pooch is extra important -- you could be fined $50 if you don't! Playful pups will love the dog walking area with trees, grass, and scents galore. A nearby highway where some noise can be heard makes the on-leash rule extra important for the safety of your furry friends.
A 5-minute drive to the town of Ochlocknee opens a world of Georgian enchantment with gorgeous, historic buildings, plantation tours, and the annual Old South Day, a tribute to the area's origins and cane syrup past. If you’re a fan of roses, take the 10-minute trek to Thomasville, an architectural delight with Victorian homes built by early snow birders as a winter retreat.
