With options to stay that include lakeside bungalows, cabins, vacation rentals, and, of course, RV spots (these are available lakeside, too), you and your pooch can enjoy the beauty of rural Florida in any style you choose. RV site rates start at just $40.

All sites are available with full hookup capabilities with electricity, cable, and wifi included. Cabins have heat, A/C, and full kitchens included. You're welcome to stay for the weekend, several weeks, or even months! As far as extras go, this resort has it all. There are, of course, practical additions like a laundromat, a chapel with full service on Sundays, and a fenced-in playground, but there are also a lot of fun additions, too. For example, you have access to private docks and private boat ramps, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a fully-renovated gym, a sewing and quilting room, and an off-leash doggo area for your pup to run around freely (called the Bark Park). 

Your doggo is pawsitively welcome to join you on a walk outside the Bark Park, but remember to keep them on their leashes at all times. Not only is this a rule to protect the property, but it's also a good rule of thumb to keep your dog close -- you're on the water in Florida, so alligators abound. The last thing you want is to lose your doggo lakeside. 

There are plenty of planned activities at Sunset King Lake RV Resort, but should you want to do your own thing, remember that you have kayak and canoe rentals available to you at the resort office.
