The campground is nestled along the banks of beautiful Lake Allatoona and offers 151 sites for campers to stay.

Those who fancy bare-bones camping will love their primitive tent camping sites, which come in single, double, and group options. The facility also caters to the RV crowd and has 118 sites with electric and water hook-ups to make their guests' stay as luxurious as possible.

Just because you are camping doesn't mean you have to "ruff" it, since the campground offers all the creature comforts of home, like flushing toilets and hot showers. Each site also comes with a picnic table and campfire ring where you can enjoy your s'mores!

Tent sites start at $18 for nonelectric forested sites; pricing for RV electric sites begin at $32 and go up from there, with water-front and double-occupancy sites being the most expensive. The group camping area has nine tent pads and is excellent for functions or scout trips since it comes with electricity and a private picnic shelter. Your pack can reserve the group site for just $270 a night. Fido can get in on the fun too -- just make sure you keep them leashed while outside of your tent!

Kiddos love this facility since it offers access to two swimming beaches and a playground. Adults can get plenty of play-time in here as well, since the park offers canoe rentals, hunting, and fishing opportunities. If you want to get out of dodge for a bit, nearby Cartersville has plenty of restaurants and exciting tourist attractions, such as a science museum and an art museum.
