A night’s stay at Tampa East will set you back between $35 and $55, depending on dates and availability. If you like the place enough, you can also stay for up to a year -- contact the resort directly for long-term rates. The resort is located just off I-75, which means that all kinds of attractions are just a short drive away, but you can also expect some noise at night.

You and your pooch should have no trouble finding something to do during your stay! Non-furry family members should find the playground, pool table, spa and fitness center keep them nicely entertained. Meanwhile, you and your buddy can take a walk around the grassy, well-maintained grounds. Venture a little fur-ther afield and you’ll find plenty more opportunities for adventure! If your furry friend needs to run free, you can check out either Davis Island Dog Park or Apollo Dog Park, both a short drive away in Tampa. The resort is also just a 45-minute drive away from Apollo Dog Beach, where your canine companion can have a whale of a time splashing about in the shallow waves -- as long as they stay on-leash, of course. You could also sniff out the trails in the Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserve.
