Ten-X Campground

Ten-X Campground is located in Kaibab National Forest in Arizona. Ten-X is so popular and used so heavily because it has one of the best locations possible - just a mere four miles from the main entrance of Kaibab National Forest and the South Rim of the breathtaking Grand Canyon. Even though the campground is so loved, there are generally open spots you can snag during most times of the year. Peak season is from May to October. With two group sites that hold up to 75 people each and 70 single sites that for eight people each, there is lots of room.

In the area, you will have access to the canyon, lush forests, bodies of water, and more, which provide fantastic hiking and walking opportunities. A trail runs right through the campground, and it is filled with nature and towering pine trees. The most popular activities in the area include sightseeing, hiking, horseback riding, and going to one of the many cultural events or museums in the area. The Grand Canyon National is one of the main attractions in the area and attracts the most people throughout the year. 

At the actual campground, you will have access to bathrooms, fresh drinking water, and paved areas for parking your car. There are also campfire rings, grills, picnic shelters, picnic tables, trash collection, and vault toilets to use for your convenience. We do have to note there are no showers at this site, so if that is an important feature, you may want to consider another campground. 

Dogs are more than welcome to come camping with you, but they should be on a leash at all times. Wearing their leash will not just keep them safe, but the other people and dogs around you as well. Always make sure they have fresh water and a shady area to relax. Overall, Ten-X Campground is in a perfect location that gives you some of the best access to many outstanding national parks. With excellent trails and scenic views, you cannot go wrong with this spot!
