The Glades RV Resort
The Glades is an RV resort in Moore Haven, Florida nestled along the Caloosahatchee River. The resort sits on a 500-acre area, and it includes 360 RV sites, as well as cozy cabins, a 9-hole golf course, a full-service freshwater marina, and a variety of other convenient and comfortable amenities. Bring your pooch along to experience the resort with you, and they can enjoy not one, but two doggy parks! The Glades also plans to add a doggy spa in 2019, so that's another exciting feature to look out for! Be sure to keep your dog on a leash when they're not in your vehicle or in a dog park, and always clean up after them.
Each RV site at The Glades has full hookups, and they can accommodate vehicles of all sizes, including big rigs. You'll also find free wifi hotspots around the resort, as well as laundry and shower facilities and a bathhouse. There are campfire pits around the resort, and when you're not cooking at your campsite, there are two on-site restaurants where you can grab a bite. If cabin camping is more your thing, the resort has several cabins that sleep four people and allow up to two pets.
To keep you busy during your stay, the resort regularly offers live music, karaoke, and arts and crafts classes. The Glades also has a 5,200 square foot activity center where you can play pickleball, bean bag baseball, bingo, and plenty of other games, get a good workout in at the fitness center, or visit the on-site driving range and golf course. RV sites begin at $50 a night, and premium sites with additional utilities cost $60 a night. Cabins start at $110 nightly, as well as an additional $20 pet fee if you bring your pup, but there's no pet fee for RV sites.
