Description

Nature and modern convenience collide at The Great Outdoors RV, Nature, and Golf Resort, an upscale gated RV community in Titusville, Florida.  Sure, RV resorts like this are a dime a dozen in the Sunshine State, but the thoughtful design of The Great Outdoors Resort sets it apart from the rest, spacing sites and facilities to maximize the natural landscape while maintaining a full spectrum of amenities. The effort put into maintaining clean modern facilities, gorgeous landscaping, and accommodating staff have earned The Great Outdoors a perfect 10 Good Sam rating, and keeps guests coming back time and time again!

This little slice of paw-adise is geared towards vacationers and retirees who want all the comforts of home, but with the tropical setting and action-packed itinerary of a 5-star resort. The Community Services Association is always pumping out new and exciting activities to keep residents entertained with optional recreation opportunities such as craft workshops, karaoke, kickboxing, yoga classes, and dances! Besides the vast array of extracurricular activities, the resort boasts an 18-hole golf course, pool, sauna, inter-denominational church, and nature trails to stimulate guests mentally, physically, and spiritually.

The owners have even made sure guests' pets are as comfortable as possible, offering them a safe fenced-in space to play off-leash during their stay. The paw park even has a wading pool for furry vacationers to cool off in during the warmer months. Canines are not allowed on the nature trails, but they do have their very own dog walk where they can exercise as often as they please!

Though this is technically a live-in community, the residents have organized a "rental pool" for those who want to check out the park. Nightly rates for this range from $55 to $70 for full-hookup sites, but spots can be hard to come by, especially in the winter months. Snowbirds searching for warmer weather are encouraged to book their stay well in advance to guarantee a reservation -- so don't sleep on this furrific Floridian getaway!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
