Description

Treasure Park East Campground is one of Arizona’s premier camping locations. It rests along Swift Trail in southern Arizona, surrounded by the scenic coniferous trees and beautiful mountains of Coronado National Forest. Every season, campers from near and far come to experience the area’s beautiful scenery and exciting outdoor activities. They also come to escape the summer heat, as the campground’s high elevation and shade make it a cool respite from the oppressive desert climate. Treasure Park East is the perfect spot for your next group camping trip, and you can bring your dog along since the campground is pet-friendly!

Treasure Park East is a single-site group campground that can accommodate up to 100 campers at a time. There is no fee for the site, so you can enjoy an amazing camping experience without having to break the bank! There are a few amenities at the campground: you have access to a drinking water spigot, campfire ring with grill, and picnic tables. Please note that one portable or self-contained toilet is required for every 15 people, and there are no toilets provided at the campground.

You’ll have lots of ways to fill your time while you stay at Treasure Park East, whether you want to take it easy and relax at the campground or venture out and explore the area’s activities. If it’s the latter you choose, you have plenty of options at the many recreational sites surrounding the campground. If fishing is your thing, you can head to the lake near the campground, which is stocked with trout. If you prefer hiking, you’ll find many trails in the area, including the popular hike up to Heliograph Peak.

When you’re planning your trip to Treasure Park East Campground, remember that the open season dates may change due to weather and fire conditions. Also note that the total vehicle length must be less than 40 feet.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
