Tropic Isle RV Park

Tropic Isle RV Park is located in Bokeelia Florida. They have over 140 RV spots and have a host of amenities. They also are dog-friendly, so, bring your pooch along for the ride!

The campground is built in two rows of RV spaces. It also includes a fishing lake on one end of the campground that has a dock and boat launch. The lake is only for fishing, however, so you can’t take a dip in it, unfortunately. There are restrooms available as well as showers, but visitors are unable to have campfires on site. 

This is exclusively an RV site, and it appears you can rent or buy an RV from this location. They also have full hookups including sewer, water, and 30 or 50 amp hookups. You can also hookup to the cable TV for even more entertainment without leaving your RV.  There is also a pool, shuffleboard, a game room, and more. As far as closeby activities, some favorites that are nearby include shopping, golfing, going to the beach, fishing, and much more.

One thing to keep in mind about Florida is that it is very hot and humid, so be prepared for that when you travel there. Also, one source mentioned that this site caters to the 55+ crowd and thus, might not be very kid-friendly. Keep that in mind while planning your trip, and call ahead if you have questions.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much information about the rules behind bringing your dog. As a rule of thumb, it’s always important to bring everything your dog will need when you go on a trip. Bedding, food, toys, and lots of water are essential. It’s also very important to always bring their leash and bags to...ahem...clean up after them. Don’t be the person who leaves dog bombs behind!
