Description

Tuttle Creek Cove is a picturesque waterside campground that welcomes pups on-leash! This campground has 39 campsites with electric and water hookups and 17 sites with no hookups. The majority of these sites offer pawesome views of Tuttle Creek Reservoir. The nightly rates at this campground are $14 for nonelectric sites and $20 for sites with electric hookups.

If you’re a water lover, Tuttle Creek Cove is perfect for you. The campground has a boat ramp available for campers to use. Many people also enjoy fishing for channel catfish, crappie, walleye, and more on the lakeshore. The campground is also just a short drive from River Pond, which is a popular place to go canoeing and kayaking.

Tuttle Creek Cove is also close to plenty of great trails for hikers. If you’d like to go on a leisurely stroll along the Big Blue River, hop on the milelong Blue River Trail in Outlet Park. Or, if you want to walk around Tuttle Creek Reservoir, head five miles down the road to Tuttle Creek State Park and check out the 0.7-mile Cedar Ridge Trail. This trail takes you through a lovely forest area, and it has plenty of benches where you can take a break and enjoy the view of the reservoir.

After your day’s adventures are done, you and your pup can relax and enjoy the pawesome amenities at Tuttle Creek Cove. Each campsite comes with its own fire ring with a grill, making it easy to cook up dinner for you and your dog. You can then enjoy your dinner at your campsite’s scenic picnic table. While shower and restroom facilities are available here, be aware that there's some steep terrain between the campsites and shower facilities. The park notes that this terrain does not meet ADA accessibility standards.

Tuttle Creek Cove is a furrific campground with plenty to offer hikers, fishermen, and boaters. Bring some doggy bags so you can clean up after your dog while you’re camping, and enjoy your trip to this fun-filled campground!
