Description

One of the best-kept secrets in Florida is a campground where the bathhouses are designer chic! Twin Lakes Camp Resort sits on a peninsula with two beautiful lakes either side and a camping style for everyone. RVs are spoiled for choice with level, paved sites and hook-ups to electricity (30/50 amp), sewer, and water. Here, you can wake up to a view of a crystal, clear lake. Established trees provide partial shade with a fire pit on every site. The average daily rate is $50 for pull-through and back-in access.

Camping is suddenly made ultra-romantic with the advent of the glamping tent, decked out with a glamorous claw tooth bath and king-size bed, making it ideal for a weekend getaway.

If you’re traveling light, book into a luxurious cabin for a $149 a night featuring a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Each cabin has been decorated to match the interior design of heritage buildings in the nearby town.

Holly Lake and King Lake steal the show, calling campers to get out on the water for a relaxed day of fishing. You could opt to kayak around the lakes or sit on the shore taking in the beauty of this marine paradise. Water fun is the mainstay of this ritzy resort with a carefree, island appeal.

The new center at the resort is a hive of activity with a solar heated pool and updated recreation room for local and park events. There’s a paid laundry facility, and you have to see the A’lure Boutique Camp Store, another trendsetting feature of this dynamic resort. The store offers high-end décor items and fashionable clothing. They also stock ice cream for the kids as well as homemade preserves and souvenirs to take back home. The hosts love holidays and pour on the treats with dinners and lunches to celebrate.

If you've arrived with pets on board, you’ll find a welcome mat for nicely mannered pooches. There is a limit of two pups per site, and dogs are required to stay on a leash. Owners must pick up their waste and use doggy bags from stations in the park.

Twin Lakes Camp Resort is pawfect for those looking for a classy camping experience! The word is spreading about this hidden gem, so it's wise to book in advance.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
