Description

Welcome to Twin Oaks RV Park, a regal Georgian campground that boasts a supreme location, making it ideal for stopovers between Florida and North Carolina.

Dig a little deeper and you'll find this pristine park has a lot to offer with versatile accommodation including full hook-ups to electricity (30/50 amp) water, sewer, and the internet. When you roll the RV into this super-friendly retreat, expect the royal treatment, with top amenities including a jacuzzi, tropical-themed swimming pool, and level, easy-access gravel sites with a concrete patio and grass strip either side. The tall oaks provide plenty of shade and an alluring beauty that adds to the overall, tranquil ambiance. The daily rate for RVs requesting a full-hookup is $40.

The park is owned and operated by a cheerful couple who go out of their way to help guests, which is one reason why so many RVers return to this hospitable camp. It’s a breeze to come off the highway and get settled in with cozy, reclusive areas for tents and a choice of their fabulous, rustic cabins with tasteful furnishings, a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and bathroom. All sites feature a picnic table and fire ring.

Twin Oaks has a pet-friendly policy with a large grassy area for pawesome dog walks and a fenced dog run where your pooch can play off-leash. Any other time, they are required to be on a leash no longer than six feet, and their adoring guardian is responsible for picking up their waste. Bring doggy litter bags so you can honor the camp's rules.

Fun things to do here include badminton, the classic horseshoes, plus sightseeing in the city of Perry, only 10 minutes from the camp. The Big Indian Waterway Trail is an exciting nature hike with trees, bridges, and grassy spaces to rest awhile. You can take your pooch, who will love the sights and scents, but be sure to keep them hydrated along the way.

Perry also features the infamous Georgia National Fairgrounds, where rodeos and horse shows take place throughout the year. If you like aviation history, a half-hour drive will find you in Warner Robbins, where the Museum of Aviation is a virtual journey of aircraft through the ages.

If you’ve just checked into the park, a soak in the covered jacuzzi will shake off the road dust and get you ready for the miles ahead. Twin Oaks RV Park exudes a peaceful atmosphere that’s ideal for summer vacations with a playground and pool for the kids. It pays to book ahead as the park is super busy in the holiday season.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
