This park is privately owned and the family that runs it lives on-site, meaning all your needs will be promptly attended to. A laid-back alternative to renting a hotel in the city, this campground offers all the amenities you need while still being in touch with nature.

The park is made up of 113 sites catering to tenters, those in a trailer, or RVrs with big rigs. Different hookup options are available with nightly prices starting at $27. Wifi is included with your stay, and visitors have reported that it is excellent quality -- so let the streaming begin! While there isn't a designated doggy area or park, there is a nature area that is great for walks. Firewood is sold on-site as are groceries and supplies, making restocking an easy affair.

You don't have to leave Volunteer Park to have fun, as they have a heated pool on the grounds! For the mini campers, there is also a playground that's the perfect place to burn some energy, and the on-site clubhouse is great for hosting events in. Volunteer Park is definitely pet-friendly, though they do ask that you keep your woofer on a leash at all times. They also request that all patrons pick up their pup's waste to keep the grounds clean and inviting. Doggos are never to be left unattended, and persistent barking will be addressed.
