Description

Westward Ho Campground is a cozy campground located under five miles from Nashville, Indiana. The dog-friendly campground offers spacious sites for tent and RV camping, as well as cabins for rent.Ā The campground is made up of 92 level sites, 40 of which are pull-through. It offers full hookups and scenic views, which are just some of the reasons it is so pawpular!

In addition to the clean shower and restroom facilities, there is a community room, a swimming pool, and a fishing lake, though swimming and boating are not allowed on the lake. A fishing license is not required. Wooden picnic tables are scattered throughout the campground and provide plenty of opportunities for breakfast with a view.

Campsites are $32 per night for two people, including a 30 amp hookup, or $37 per night for a 50 amp hookup. There is an extra $3.50 for each additional person. Alternatively, cabins are $50 per night and $5 for each extra person; please note that though canine companions are welcome to join their owners in the tent and RV sites, they are not allowed in cabins. Additional pet restrictions are in placeĀ but are not listed on the campground's website, so it may be a good idea to call ahead to confirm pet policies before booking.

The hosts are strict about visitors following the campgroundā€™s guidelines, including those regarding the quiet hours and sewer rings, which helps keep the campground clean and quiet. Since the campsites are not labeled, the hosts escort visitors to their sites at arrival. The campgroundā€™s surface consists of well-manicured and mowed grass, and there is plenty of space for owners to walk their dogs.

In terms of attractions, the campground is conveniently located next to an antique shop, a winery, and a flea market. Plus, tons of restaurants and stores can be found just a few miles away in Nashville. Since the campground sits close to the highway, some road noise can be heard during the day, but visitors remark that it's peaceful at night.Ā

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
