Description

Pack up the RV and head west to a secluded paradise where the traditional art of camping is well preserved with stylish amenities for a memorable stay.

The friendly hosts at Westward Ho RV Resort truly understand the concept of camping, with tent sites in a woodland setting and full hookups including water, electricity (20/30/50 amps), sewer, and Wi-Fi for visiting RVers. Each site has a fire ring for cooking convenience.

With close to 300 sites, you’ll find a camping spot to relax on a level grassy/gravel pad with established trees for shade.  If sleeping in a cozy cabin or cottage is more to your taste, the accommodations at Westward are sure to impress with home-away-from-home comforts and facilities.

Set on 103 acres of premium parkland, the resort is all about family fun with a kid’s playground and zoo featuring adorable animals. You can’t escape the quaint Western theme that extends to the Trading Post store where you a can grab supplies and ice cream. There is plenty to do, with fishing in the pond, mini-golf, volleyball, the classic horseshoes, tennis, and basketball. After all that exercise, you might want to cool off in one of the swimming pools or have a picnic. When night falls, the local Music Hall comes to life as campers get set for a night of revelry. Pristine showers, restrooms, and laundry make camping out a joy in a beautiful, natural setting where the stresses of life float away.

There’s no need to leave the family woofer at home when you’re camping at Westward Ho RV Resort, as they are pet-friendly - with a few rules to follow. Dogs are required to be on-leash when they are not in vehicles and owners must pick up their waste. Knowing that pooches need their daily exercise, the good hosts at the resort have set up a fenced-in dog area where your pup can go off-leash. There are also walking trails for campers and their furry-pals.

Around eight miles along a scenic drive finds you in the village of Glenbeulah, and entry to the Greenbush Trails on Kettle Marine Drive where two highly-rated trails offer hikers and mountain bikers a thrilling time.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
