Winterset RV Resort

If you're looking for an RV resort with a strong sense of community where you'll feel right at home in no time, Winterset could be the one for you! It's located just off US 41 in Palmetto, Florida, and there are hundreds of RV sites to choose from situated on grassy lots with lots of space between them. Many guests stay here for a short time, but you'll also meet plenty of people who love Winterset RV Resort so much, they make it their home all year long.

Dogs love this resort too, and up to two pets are permitted at designated sites. Your dogs must weigh less than 25 pounds each, always be kept on a leash, and guests are responsible for cleaning up after them. The resort has a fenced off-leash run, and there are lots of nice on-leash dog walking places too, including along Frog Creek on the southern edge of the property.

Your RV site will have water, sewer, and electric hookups, and you'll also have free WiFi access throughout the resort. You can use the resort's two laundry facilities, but there are no bathroom or shower facilities except the ones in your vehicle. The resort has a dump station that costs $10 for non-residents, and there are security cameras around the resort to give you peace of mind.

As far as fun amenities go, it's hard to beat Winterset RV Resort! Not only is there a heated pool that's open year-round, but there are also excellent fishing "pawportunities" on the waters of Frog Creek. You can enjoy the resort's pickleball, shuffleboard, and tennis courts, or visit the wood shop to create your masterpiece. Be sure to keep an eye on the event calendar so you don't miss out on arts and crafts and other exciting activities at the resort. 

Daily rates begin at just $30 in the summer and $40 during peak winter season. Be sure to give at least 60 days' notice if you have to cancel your stay or you could risk paying a cancellation fee.
