Wishon Bass Lake

Wishon Campground is a premier campground in eastern California. Located in the Sierra National Forest, it offers campers the opportunity to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the lakeside camping experience. The campground is pet-friendly.

Wishon Campground has 47 sites, and each site can accommodate up to six people. The nightly fee for a site is $33.34, and a double site can be reserved for $65.77. (Note that there is an additional fee during holidays — $2 for a single and $4 for a double.) The campground is well-shaded by the surrounding oak, pine, cedar, and manzanita tree clusters. The sites come equipped with a picnic table and a fire pit and grill. You can also find drinking water and flush toilets at the campground, and if you travel to Miller’s Landing Resort nearby, you can access the general store, pay showers, laundry facility, and restaurant there.

There are also some outdoor recreation sites close to the campground that you might want to check out. The neighboring Bass Lake is a very popular location for fishing and boating, and wildlife enthusiasts will be pleased to know that it is home to bald and golden eagles as well.

When you’re staying at Wishon Campground, there are a few things you will want to keep in mind. Campers are allowed to bring two pets per site, and pets must remain leashed at all times. The maximum vehicle length is 30 feet, but because of the narrow and bumpy roads at the campground, bringing RVs or trailers over 24 and 20 feet is not recommended. You must check in at the registration office before you get set up at your campsite.
