The Woodsmoke Camping Resort in Fort Myers, Florida is often referred to as the most beautiful of its kind in the area, and it isn't hard to see why! When the resort was built in 1968, it sat on just three acres of land, but today, it takes up more than ten times that space and includes 300 RV sites.
Your dog is welcome to join you at the Woodsmoke Camping Resort, but there are some essential rules to follow. If your dog isn't in the resort's off-leash area, be sure they're always restrained. To keep the resort clean for everyone's enjoyment, the resort uses a service called Poo Prints. If you bring your pet with you, their mouth will be swabbed upon your arrival for a DNA sample which costs $40. Then, when dog waste is found in the resort, it can be tested to see who it came from. If your dog turns out to be the culprit, you'll be responsible for paying a fine.
RV sites range from 75 to 80 feet and include pull-through and back-in options. Each site has 30 or 50-amp electric, as well as water and sewer hookups. Spots have paved parking spurs, and you'll have access to wifi during your stay. There are sparkling clean bathhouses and laundry facilities as well as an exercise room for guests to use.
During your stay, you can enjoy the resort's heated pool and jacuzzi, or visit the clubhouse. There's also a playground on-site, as well as horseshoes, billiards, and shuffleboard. The resort has two of its own lakes where campers can fish, and there are boardwalks and a nature trail on the grounds, too.
Sites begin at just $55 per night depending on the time of year you visit and the amenities you choose. Rates include up to four guests, and each additional guest is subject to an extra $6 fee per day. When you book your spot at this furrific resort, make sure to ask about extended stay rates and other discounts!
