Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground is located in Billings, Montana. Guests can camp in tents, RVs, or cabins when in the campgrounds. However, you can only use tents in the tent areas and RVs in the RV areas. Three cabins are available for rent as well. The campgrounds include a recreation area, a dog walking area, an antique machinery display, a laundry facility, arcade, store and gift shop, pool, restrooms, and showers.
While you can grill out on the campgrounds, fire pits are not allowed in any part of the park. Since there are picnic tables in the area, you can enjoy a nice meal outdoors, but no grilling is allowed on the picnic tables. Parts of the campground have a lot of shade, while other parts have very little access to shade. Be careful that you are protecting your skin (and your pup's) from sun damage.
Nearby, guests can experience the river, as well as caves, museums, and more. There are parks and trails in the area that are great for exploring the natural wonder that surrounds the town. From the campground, there is a trail that leads directly to the river. Many guests like to walk down to the river to fish for a few hours.
Pets are allowed at Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground, but there are a few rules. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Dogs can't be tied to trees in the campgrounds. There is a designated area for pets to use to get exercise and to relieve themselves. All guests are required to clean up after their dogs. Dogs are not allowed to enter the cabins, buildings, pool, or playground area. Pets can't be left unattended so plan your stay accordingly. Excessive aggression and noise will result in a guest being asked to leave.
