Armitage Dog Park

This dog park spans two acres and is covered in beautiful green grass and plenty of vegetation for shade. A fence surrounds the park, making it difficult for even the biggest runners to escape. Now even though the park itself is free and open to the public, if you are not a resident of the immediate area and have to drive to this location, then the parking you are permitted to use does have a $4 fee associated with it.

Waste bags are available for you to pick up your dog's waste and garbage tins are available for your convenience as well. This park has picnic tables, trees, pools, and available water. The Armitage Dog Park is large enough to play games like fetch or frisbee, but small enough that your canine will remain in eyesight no matter where they travel through the park.

There is a walking path inside the Armitage Dog Park for you to walk on if you are more keen on moving around while your canine plays. The grounds are well maintained and the city enforces the rules here making it a relatively safe place to bring your canine to play.

Your canine must be current on all vaccinations and licensed with tags on the collar. The greater acreage of the park makes for a fantastic place to walk and exercise your canine through. Armitage Dog Park spans a total of 52 acres of paths and trails, however, throughout all the remaining area of the park your canine is required to be on a leash at all times.

The greater area of the park hosts a variety of activities, such as caping intent or RV, as well as fishing and river access. The camping areas are clean and provided for and the off-leash area makes for a unique attraction for most camping sites. The gorgeous foliage and a large number of grounds you can go through make this a great camping place for those with canines.
