Barbara's Pet Park

Barbara's Pet Park is a membership only dog park. Your canine is not allowed on these grounds without proper vaccinations and a membership to the park. The membership on an annual basis costs $100, not including the mandated rabies vaccinations you must verify. This membership can be done on sight or through the city, but you must bring your canines vaccination tag.

If anything, Barbara's Pet Park is an interesting and unique place to bring your canine. This park is located in Arizona and does require memberships, however, it is very popular with the locals and you can easily see why. The park is fenced in, so even those that love to run the most cannot get away. They have abundant water available at your canines height so you don't even need to bring your own dog bowl. 

Barbara's Pet Park also features a ton of toys and obstacles for your canine to play on. Derived from an old west theme, the dog park has a nice aesthetic for its location in the desert. This park also has agility equipment, turfed dog runs, and cool pools for your canine. It also contains several different types of seating and makes available plenty of shade.

The park is run by an organization called 'Anthem Pets,' which is a non-profit organization. They charge fees to be able to use the park to afford to pay for maintenance and renovations. This dog park was previously known as the 'Jackass Acres, K-9 Korral' and was rated one of the five must-see dog parks in the United States by Pedigree in 2008. 

Barbara's Pet Park is run with green techniques including solar power and solar lighting, green building techniques, going even as far as recycling your canines waste. The grounds are very well maintained and by all accounts, the owners of the facility are very accommodating.
