Is your pup in the market for a new dog park? Then check out the Hannah More BARC Park. This Baltimore Animal Recreation Center off-leash area is a fully fenced doggy play zone where your pal can exercise, socialize, and have a ball!
Located inside Hannah More Park, the dog park can be found at the end of Academy Lane. With a small parking area, access to this pupperdise is easy! And with two separate off leash areas for large and small pups, dogs of all shapes and sizes can play at their own pace. Bigger breeds have 1.5 acres to run around, while petite pooches get a .75 acre space. The ground is mostly covered in grass, although some of it has been replaced with patches of mulch. There are baby pools provided in the summer, so it may be a good idea to bring a towel if your pup is especially fond of the water.
The park has some seating providing you with a place to relax while your pup plays, just be sure to keep an eye on them. The BARC Park provides waste bags, so it's easy to pick up after your pal. Both sections of the park have drinking water for thirsty pups too! Restrooms are located inside the larger Hannah More Park.
In order for your pooch to have access to the park, your pup will need to be up to date on their vaccines and license. You will also need to register with the local County Parks and Recreation Department, fill out the application and pay the $30 fee to receive the code to the gate. The membership is good for a year, starting January 1st.
No bones about it, your furry friend will go will go mutts over this pawsome park!
