This dedicated dog facility has much to offer dogs and their owners. Centrally located between both enclosures is a picnic pavilion with seating. Dog owners can find respite from the heat and enjoy a little snack or lunch in this shaded rest area while supervising their dogs at play. Water is also provided for both human and dog hydration needs.
To assist with preserving the park's pristine cleanliness, poop bags and pooper scoopers are both provided on site for owners to use in properly picking up and disposing of any canine waste materials. There are also trash receptacles provided throughout strategic areas of the park for your convenience.
Entrance to this park is restricted to members only; however, passes can be purchased for as little as one day and as great as one year. In order for an application to be considered, park officials require the following documentation to be submitted along with the application form and appropriate fee: proof of the appropriate state dog license, proof of a current rabies vaccination, a signed release form, and proper proof of area address or property ownership.
Access to the park is restricted to adults aged 18 or older; however, adolescents between ages 11-17 may attend the park when in the presence of an adult. In addition to this, dogs must be under direct supervision of an adult at all times, and though the enclosures are designated off-leash areas, dogs are to be leashed going to and from the play areas. Owners must also carry leads with them at all times.
This park prohibits alcohol, food, treats, and breakable containers. Toys are also forbidden with the exception of frisbees or tennis balls. While unneutered dogs are permitted on the premises, owners are required to carefully supervise interactions with other dogs and to remove their dog at the first sign of overstimulation. Females in heat and puppies under 6 months of age are prohibited from using the facilities.
