Barkmaster Dog Park (at Bushmaster Park)
Need a new place to take your pup? Look no further! Head over to Barkmaster Dog Park for some off leash fun. Located inside Bushmaster Park, this doggy play zone is just calling your pup’s name!
This 1.5 acre pawperty houses two fenced dog runs. One is
for petite pooches and the other is for larger breeds. Once your pooch arrives,
they can ditch their leash and run around to their heart’s content! Dog parks
are great way to help your pooch practice their socialization skills. They can
meet new furry playmates and play a good old fashioned game of chase. Or, if
they prefer, your pal can just trot around on their own and check out all the
new smells. The park also has some pawsome agility equipment where your pup can
put their athletic prowess to the test. Tunnels, stacks of giant tires, and
hoops make this park extra fun!
Benches are available for pet parents. If you sit down to
relax, make sure you also keep an eye on your beloved pup. A few tall trees
cast shadows and give canine park patrons some much needed shade. The ground is
covered in dirt, so your pal’s paws will be dusty when they are finished
playing. Water fountains are available, but sometimes they don’t work. To play
it safe, bring plenty of water and a bowl from home. Your pup will be thirsty
after all that running around! Also pack a clean up bag and make sure your pick
up after your pooch.
After a solid play session, clip on your dog’s leash and
go for a spin around Bushmaster Park. It has a furrific network of paved pathways
for your pup to explore. And it will give them a chance to cool down.
