Does your pup need to get the wiggles out or make new friends? Then bring them to the Bay View Dog Park! Located in the hip and eclectic neighborhood of the same name, this fully fenced dog park is a pawpular hangout among the four-legged locals!

While it may not be the biggest or fanciest dog park in Milwaukee, the Bay View Dog Park offers all the basic amenities canine visitors need to have a tail-waggin’ good time. There is no separate area for small pooches, but this 1-acre park is big enough for pups of all sizes to run, play, and burn off energy. Dotting the open field are logs and rocks for the dogs to climb on, benches for the humans to sit on, and dog waste stations stocked with bags to keep the park clean.

Although there are no trees to duck under when it gets hot, part of the park is covered by an overpass that provides ample shade on sunny days. Water and bowls are available for thirsty pups as well. The park does tend to get muddy after a rain, so it’s a good idea to keep a pack of wipes in your car.

Before you bring your best canine friend to the Bay View Dog Park, make sure that they’re licensed and up to date on their vaccinations. All dogs must also have a daily or annual pass to use the park. Passes can be purchased online or on-site; a single-day pass is $5, while an annual pass ranges from $15 to $35.
