After a long day at work, unwind with your canine BFF and let them get the wiggles out at the Bell Branch Dog Park! Located at the back of Bell Branch Park's athletic complex, this canine hangout offers plenty of room for your high-energy pooch to run to their heart's content. It's also a pawtastic spot to meet new doggie pals, so leash up your pupper and hop into the car—it's time for a trip to the dog park!
The Bell Branch Dog Park is divided into two separate areas: one for large canines and another for small and senior doggos. Both sections are fully fenced and have a double gate entry, so you can rest easy as your dog romps and mingles with their four-legged friends. Still, it's impawtant to keep an eye on Fido, as every dog parent is responsible for making sure their furry charge minds their manners and plays nicely. Picking up whatever your pup puts down is also a must. If you forgot to bring your own waste bags, you'll find some in the mailbox by the entrance. Trash cans are also available for your convenience.
While there is no agility course at the park, there is ample space for puppers of all sizes to get some sprints in, so even large pooches will be tuckered out after spending some time here. Keep your dog from getting too thirsty by offering them water every now and then. Visitors say that water is only provided during warmer months, so remember to bring your own. In the summer, there are a couple of kiddie pools for water-loving woofers to cool off in as well. Note that shade is limited at the dog park, so swing by when the sun isn't too strong to prevent hot paws and overheating.Â
For unfettered exercise and play, you can't go wrong with the Bell Branch Dog Park!
