Bond Park Off Leash Dog Area

The Bond Park Off-Leash Dog Area is in Petaluma, California. While Bond Park itself is a sprawling, six acres of parkland in the center of the city, the dog park or more specifically, the DRA - dog run area - is just a minor part of it. The boundaries of the dog run area are clearly marked, and dogs should not be unleashed in any other part of the main park. Owners are also requested to respect the specific off-leash hours and keep their dogs leashed at all other times.

This dog park is not fenced in any way, and dogs do need to be able to respond to voice control before owners should consider using the facility. The off-leash dog run area is covered with well-maintained grass, and there are some trees here and there. It is a great space for a pup to play in, do some training, or socialize with other dogs. Though handlers should be aware, dogs must be prevented from straying into the children's playground or onto the sports fields.
