Prince Park Off Leash Dog Area

Prince Park Off-Leash Dog Area is located in Petaluma, California. Housed on the same property as Prince Park, the grounds consist of 22.26 acres of land on which is carved out an unfenced area reserved for off-leash play time. Since the dog run is not enclosed, it is important for owners to keep a lead handy. Alternatively, dogs who do not possess a solid recall should remain on a leash. 

In all other areas of the park, it is mandatory for dogs to remain on a lead of no greater than six feet in length. Prince Park Off-Leash Dog Area is pleased to offer access to their designated dog zone free of charge to the public. Bathrooms are situated on the property, and water fountains are near to the dog playground section to ensure Fido can quench his thirst after a day of roughhousing and off-leash play.

This lovely park space observes seasonal hours for the summer months. Dogs are permitted in the park during all hours; however, owners must strictly adhere to the posted times when off-leash play is allowed in the designated dog area. Additionally, owners are encouraged to bring poop bags with them for the clean up of all dog waste. Current vaccination and license tags are to be worn on the collars of all dogs.
