Since small, elderly, and shy dogs can often be intimidated by play time with larger dogs, an enclosure has been designed with their needs in mind. Here, dogs can enjoy off-leash activity and engage in appropriate socialization with dogs who are similar in size, personality, and/or age.
Broadneck Dog Park is proud to welcome all dogs to enjoy their runs off-lead; however, with safety at the forefront of their concerns, the park management does mandate that all owners maintain a leash with them. Additionally, dogs must remain on lead in all other areas of the park.
Broadneck Dog Park is pleased to permit the public to enjoy their doggy play haven at no cost. The dog play spaces are complete with water access to help meet all of Fido's hydration needs. There are also bathrooms for public use situated near to the dog runs. Comfortable seating is littered throughout the property in areas which offer bountiful shade cover.
Owners may find rest from the heat of the day and feast their eyes on the joys of watching their dogs having fun in the enclosures. Since it is unknown if poop bags are provided at Broadneck Dog Park, it is wise for owners to bring some from home with them. Owners are responsible for all pet cleanup.
For families seeking a little additional recreational adventure, Broadneck Park offers a walking trail which is lined with a rigorous activity course which promises to test each family member's fitness level. Fido is permitted to join his family on their hike but must remain on a leash.
As with most public dog facilities, Broadneck Dog Park takes a proactive view of dog ownership and requires up to date vaccinations and a city dog license. For a relaxing day in a serene, natural setting, bring Fido and the family to visit Broadneck Dog Park!
