Dog owners who love to be outdoors in the countryside with a lovely view of the forest will love the Canal Fulton Dog Park in Ohio. Your pooch will have plenty to do at this park including splashing in the kiddy pool during the warmer months then hydrating with the puppy water fountain. 

This sizeable fenced-in dog park has a separate area for small and large dogs. There are also picnic tables inside and outside of the park. So visitors can bring snacks or lunches and relax while watching their dog play or have a picnic after.

And since this unique park resides in Ohio, dog owners can bring their furry friends here during the winter for a cool experience. Scurry will have a ball rolling around in the snow within the safe and secure area. Just remember to wear your hat and mittens during the frigid weather.

Visitors should know that this park is located near a gun range and treatment center. Luckily, there is no shooting near the dog park, but the loud noises might irritate your fur baby. And although the treatment center is nearby, there does not seem to be a strong smell within the dog park.

There are some rules posted at this dog park. Dogs in heat are not allowed, and you need to keep your pooch under voice control at all times. Also, aggressive dogs need to find another place to play. And since the city maintains this park, help keep it that way by picking up after your pooch does a doo.

If you plan on visiting this park during the summer, bring sunscreen because Ohio does get sunny during these times of the year. And although there are a few planted trees on the premises, there is not a lot of shade. But dog owners will enjoy visiting this park during any season.
