There is no specific dog play area demarcated at this beautiful state park; however, dogs are welcome to join their owners in all areas of Cattail Cove Park. As is required by most state parks, dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Cattail Cove State Park is a private recreational area and campground. Entrance to the grounds is fee-based.Â
Mondays through Thursdays the cost is $10 per day, and from Fridays through Sundays, the fee is increased to $15 per day. Overnight parking also necessitates an additional cost of $15 for weekday stays and $20 for weekends. Cattail Cove State Park is a haven for those who enjoy hiking and water recreational sports. The area provides the ideal backdrop for boating, swimming, and fishing.Â
Avid fisherman love that the 45 mile Lake Havasu is the perfect spot to fish for bass, catfish, bluegill, and crappie. There are also many beautiful trails which traverse varied terrain on the grounds. In season, families can also enjoy a spectacular wildflower garden comprised of many plant varieties indigenous to the region.Â
Camping is available at this beautiful state park, and reservations are required. Fees may be associated with the rentals. There are no on-site amenities provided for dog use. Owners should take care to bring water with them at all times as well as poop bags to clean up after their pets. Bathrooms with showers are available on the premises for public use.Â
