Chattanooga Chew Chew Canine Park

Chattanooga Chew Chew Canine Park is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, directly beside the Tennessee Pavilion, which is home to many area events. This dedicated dog facility boasts of two fully fenced dog areas suitable for off-leash play. One of the two enclosures is reserved specifically for use by small dogs. Though these play areas are designated off-leash zones, owners are required to carry a lead with them at all times and to keep their dogs on a leash in all other areas of the park. 

A true doggy play haven, Chattanooga Chew Chew Canine Park contains agility equipment, water fountains, and fire hydrants for Fido to enjoy during his play time. The park itself is shaded by lush greenery providing a tranquil respite from the busyness of city life. Benches are littered throughout the property to encourage owners to relax and enjoy their dogs at play. It is unknown if bathrooms are available on-site for public use. However, drinking water is available via the fountains to help keep Fido well-hydrated. 

Access to this public park is free of charge. This dedicated dog space is also equipped with picnic tables where families can enjoy a snack or a light lunch. It is unknown if poop bags are available on the premises. However, it is required that all dog owners carry bags with them to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials. City by-laws mandate that all dogs making use of the park be current on all vaccinations. In addition to this, it is required that all dogs be registered with the city. Proof of inoculations and city license must be evidenced via up to date dog tags displayed on your dog's collar. Failure to obtain these items is punishable by a fine.

Visitors to this park love its close proximity to the Tennessee Pavilion where many community events take place including the Farmers' Market each Sunday. This dog space is also renowned for its pristine cleanliness though some owners do report that they would prefer the area to be better shaded.
