You will find nature landscape, hiking trails, biking trails, a river, winter trails, availability for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping, and so much more. You can also bring your pooch with you on all of your adventures in this state recreation site, but you must keep them on a six-foot-long leash during their stay.
During your time in the Chena River State Recreation Site, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park system. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.
All pets and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to the Chena River State Recreation Site as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park.
